1. Disable Third-Party Anti-virus
For Windows Security, Select Start – Settings > Update & Security – Windows Security – Virus & threat protection > Manage settings. Switch Real-time protection to Off.
For AVAST, Search for the Avast icon in your computer’s system tray and right-click on it. Then click Avast shields control. Then click on the desired disabling option.
For AVG, Search for the AVG icon in your computer’s system tray and right-click on it. Then click on Temporarily disable AVG protection. Choose the desired disabling option. Then finally click on OK to disable the antivirus program.
For adding to the exceptions list, each anti-virus program has its own method. So you would need to check its instruction manual to see how to do it.

2. Disable 3D Vision driver
NVIDIA 3D vision driver is reported to have been causing the crash by many gamers. Several gamers also reported that the game started crashing after they installed the driver and enabled it. So if you disabled or uninstall it, it should fix the crashing issues.
To uninstall it, Open the Run accessory’s window > Type appwiz.cpl in Run and click OK to open Windows’ uninstaller applet > select NVIDIA 3D Vision Driver on the software list > Click Uninstall and Yes to remove 3D Vision.
Restart your desktop or laptop after uninstalling NVIDIA 3D Vision.
3. Disable the Built-in Origins Menu
Those who bought their game from Origin must know that the EA platform has a built-in menu. This reportedly caused the game to crash for many gamers and most suggested that simply by disabling it would fix the crashing.
To disable it, open Origin’s window and login if you need to. Then click the Origin menu to select Application Settings. Next, select the Origin In-Game tab. Then turn off Enable Origin In-Game if need be. An easy yet effective method.
4. Use Origin’s Repair Option

8. The Lunge and Slash Ability
The fans have dubbed this as the lunge bug and for many, it has been causing the crash to desktop without error problem. The reports suggest that this crash is only occurring when the Effortless Lunge skill is enabled for the main character or any other character in your team.
Though EA has not said much about it, fans are theorizing that the crashes might be due to how the skill’s animation is processed by certain video cards.
So see if any of your characters or companions have the Effortless Lunge. If yes, respec and avoid taking it.
If you don’t want to disable the lunge and slash ability, you should not take the Effortless Lunge upgrade on either one of your characters so that you don’t have to give up the Lunge and Slash Ability.
9. Run it in Compatibility mode
